Amanda Laura Martin sobbed softly, burying her head in her arm. Her curls spilled onto Andrew's broad shoulder, and he carried her away from the bullies at the playground.
"They were mean to me," Amanda said, her voice muffled by her arm and his hard exterior.
"I know," he replied, doing his best to bend his circuits to make his voice softer.
She looked up into his expressionless face, and he returned her gaze as he carried her. "You won't forget me one day, will you Andrew?"
"No, Little Miss," he answered.

The Robots Are Coming is a series of robotic portraits, as analogies for people we tend to ignore.
Fans of my work submit adjectives, which drive the inspiration behind each piece. The robots are drawn by hand, and then vectorized and coloured. The colours for each piece are created generatively.
If available at the time of sale, a physical framed canvas edition can be sent to the buyer. Only 10 physical canvases of each piece are created.
