The Zangbeto (Men of the night or Night-watchmen) are traditional voodoo guardians of the night among the Ogu or Egun people of Benin, Togo and Nigeria. The garment which acts as a ceremonial costume consists of a covering made from intricate masses of tiny strands of hay, raffia and other threadlike materials. This costume also often includes a horned mask which is sometimes dyed in various bright colours and patterns.
