On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization finally made the obvious official by declaring the spread of the Covid-19 virus to be a pandemic. The writing was on the wall for weeks leading up to this fiat declaration. Millions have been infected and hundreds of thousands (a toll still climbing) have passed. These coins are minted in the midst of incredible new pressures on our long standing institutions and each of us as individuals. We may someday look back on this period and muse about what we should have done differently, but hindsight is always 2020.
