'Sensual' is a piece I have created with a lot of heart and emotions. Those who know me by now, know that I do not like forcing a story on my artworks. Yes, it would be wise to describe it in a technical manner, and present what it is that the viewer sees, but I want to stand by my own choices, and just create and let it be.

I am a proud artist and I value very much what I do. Maybe by comparison, I may not be in a certain league as others, but for me there is no league, it just existence or void. It is or it is not. Everything else besides this, is just play. Bad, good, white, black, left or right, these is just the universe at play, judging, labels... it only means something for the one mentioning it. And where does art fit in all of these things? Art is a part of the 'play' as well, but is it really bad if only the artist loves its pieces the most?

I am not arrogant, but I have my own specific kind of proud. It steems from my love from what I do. It will not bring me fame or riches and neither am I seeking for that, but I love admiring my pieces more than anything. I am well aware that those who see my pieces will not go and see it full size, zoom in, inspect and such.. but I do. And for me, in my own little bubble and universe, I am the most beautiful artist in my own life. And so, I love myself for it. But you don't have to approve with me, and that is okay.

There is something in the life of each of you, something which you notice you like and love so much, that often it feels like you can not love it so much, because other people do not as well, or by comparison it shouldn't feel as such. But forget about other people for a moment, forget about comparing, forget about everything else you know. Just center yourself in the present moment, on you and the thing you really love doing. Become what you observe or do. In my case, I became the artwork itself (difficult to put in words without sounding like a lunatic). Cherish your own mind, and never expect someone else to do it for you! With love, Kalisto Senna.
