With all the ballers aping in (including the professional ones), I want to celebrate this moment with this NiftyPin! Launch price is 0.05. This pin is special because it is (1) the first digital NFT x physical IRL NiftyPin to be produced, (2) the first Bored Ape Yacht Club derivative I’ve made and (3) the first NiftyPin minted as an ERC-721 token with the rare 24-karat gold plated NFT/physical pin counterpart!

This ERC-721 NiftyPin is one out of ten NFT/physical pins to be made. You may trade/sell the pin on the secondary market, but on July 1, 2021 all owners with this 721 token in their wallet can claim the physical enamel pin in 24-karat gold plating. United States owners can receive the pin with free shipping; anyone outside the United States will be responsible for paying the shipping fees of the carrier of your choice. After the pins are mailed out, this will solely be a virtual NiftyPin. However, if you are purchasing it on the secondary market, you can certainly reach out to talk with the seller to see if they will include the physical pin.

The most optimal way to claim the physical pin is if your OpenSea or Rarible account is tied to your Twitter account—that makes it easy and proves you own the pin and you can send me a DM. If you don’t have this easy verification, message me on Twitter at @niftypins and I will ask you to send a unique, trace amount of ETH from the wallet that holds this NiftyPin. Think of it like those two small transactions we often have to do to verify a bank account. When that proves out, you will be able to claim the physical pin!

Remember: you must HODL this NFT through July 1st (I would hold it all day because I don’t know when I’m taking a snapshot!) in order to claim the physical enamel pin! You can also flip it if you want, but if you do not have this token in your wallet on July 1st you cannot get the pin. I will not be producing this physical pin outside of this NFT drop!

NOTE 1: this will be a hard enamel pin with a red rubber backer that is 25mm wide by 30.6mm tall.

NOTE 2: there are also one hundred ERC-1155 NiftyPins that are nickel plated. I chose nickel instead of silver because the latter tarnishes easier—I didn’t go cheap on the plating option for you, I just want the pin to always look sharp. Find them on the blockchain by looking at the different collections I’ve minted.

NOTE 3: this is a redo of an earlier third edition of the pin that had the letters “BAYC” on the pin. I was unaware that this was a violation of the terms of service for derivatives of my ape, and upon discovering this in the BAYC Discord, I reached out to the founders, apologized and quickly took down the tokens. This derivative does fall within the guidelines and I’m happy to release it again!
