This is La Bouche & The Sanguine Decanter from the Museum Of Peculiars.
La Bouche
This chalice, made just before the French revolution, is decorated with gold wreaths made up of vine-like arrangements. On the top half, the wreaths partially surround emblems of the French crown: The Fleurs-de-lis. This may be about the original owner's alignment to their monarchy, or perhaps it belonged to the House of Bourbon themselves. The lower half features four embedded rubies, surrounded by golden cordage and fully encircled by gold wreaths. It is believed the gemstone was chosen due to its sanguine appearance and closest representation to the use of this chalice. To drink the pure blood of virgins, in hopes of extending one's life.
Sanguine Decanter
Found in the same location as “La Bouche”, this decanter is a particular anomaly as the stopper was melted to the body and sealed shut. Following the brilliant refractions down the glass will lead you to the contents. Contained within is a viscous liquid that resembles blood, but could not possibly be as the liquid still appears fresh and runs smoothly.
Purchase includes Dropbox link to a full resolution photo and a 500x500 transparent alt render of the piece.
The Museum Of Peculiars collects and displays the finest haunted pieces for the world to see. Created by Sakunera as a way to merge 3D art and writing, the fictional museum is sharing peculiar and strange items from their private collection for the world to take part in owning themselves.
