Invented by RyanJK on 3-20-2020. The Interceptor MP was Reaper G-Corp's response to calls for a more aggressive starship. By sacrificing some of the speed and experimental tech from its predecessor, the mass produced version of the Interceptor boasts an increase in armor reinforcement and weapons capability. It's now Reaper's most popular ship build. With the Interceptor MP, pilots can go on the offensive if someone decides they want to pick a fight.
The Interceptor was a hugely popular ship that Reaper still saw room to improve upon. It was quick and agile, but lacked firepower if a fight couldn't be avoided. With the MP version came a ship that couldn't jump into FTL as quickly, but was more than capable of holding its own against another ship. In more capable hands, the Interceptor MP could prove to be an even more dangerous opponent on the offensive.
All Interceptors come pre-equipped with Energy Leash and FTL Disruption Pulse modules to help new commanders intercept their foes right out of the gate!
