On the 8th of October, during the annual summit of the Seven Legendary Apes, a disastrous misfortune occurred. Five of the seven SpaceApe Legends were abducted during a swift and unexpected raid on SpaceApe HQ– executed by the despicable Space Droid Federation. Eager to retrieve their brethren and liberate them from the cold, metallic, apathetic clutches of their automated captors, the remaining Legends signalled their beacon of hope–the Primate Protectorate.

The Primate Protectorate is an elite force consisting of fighters that possess unmatched strength, with each member capable of single-handedly decimating a platoon of droids. While their brethren gazed into the cosmos yearning to explore–blinded by the beauty of the stars, their creed remained adamant, firmly believing that the cosmos provided refuge to beings with heinous intentions, allowing them to lurk in the shadows of their infinite brilliance. Resolute in their conviction Primate Protectorate devoted themselves to the pursuit of peak physical conditioning and the protection of their community. SpaceApes that adopted the creed of the Primate Protectorate member underwent unrelenting training to surpass their limitations. Their rigorous pursuit of strength evolved their bodies: their once luscious silky hair had grown thick and matted, forming an almost impenetrable armour; their appendages had grown to such a size that they dwarfed those of their comrades, able to exert strength far beyond that of an average ape; their mouths expanded, accommodating for the razor-sharp teeth that they had developed. Their potential and tenacity heightened further by selective breeding–a practice that ensured that those who followed the creed would be blessed with superior genetics. Despite their contrasting ideals, the Primate Protectorate had always been firmly supported and welcomed by their idealistic pathfinder compatriots–they were two sides of the same coin. Having heard the pleas of their kin, the three most distinguished Primate Protectorates answered their summoning. Having earned their merits in countless battles, they had cemented themselves atop the pyramid of strength, fortifying themselves as the ever-dependable pillars of SpaceApe society. The uncertainty that had accumulated in the hearts and souls of the SpaceApes was extinguished in an instant–replaced by a familiar sense of relief– as they bared witness to their heroes launching into the outer atmosphere in pursuit of their captured kin.
