This is a photograph of my folk art watercolor painting entitled “Coca-Cola Revealed” done in August 2019 right after the sign was uncovered on the side of what is now the Lemon Tree Gallery & Studio. The Coca-Cola sign was painted on the side of the Iconic Savage & Blasingame Drug Store in about 1923. A PNG 22.9MB file is accessible upon purchase in unlockable content. William Blasingame died in 1945 and drug store was known as Savages Drug until 1997. Today, it is home to the Lemon Tree Gallery & Studio. The Coca-Cola sign was rediscovered in 2019 when the gallery attached a wood frame to building and layer of stucco finish cracked off to reveal the original painted sign in remarkably good condition.
