Remembrance is a collection comprised of 12 unique images inspired by Día de Los Muertos. The importance of this series of photographs lies in the impact that the current Covid-19 pandemic has had on cultures globally and in the way each culture has approached mortality and grief. People all over the world have lost a multitude of loved ones over the past 20 months and have mourned the losses very differently. The concept behind this series of photographs is to showcase how the Mexican culture approaches mortality and manages to turn sorrow and grief into a celebration of the circle of life.
