White Crocodiles are extremely rare. Only 100 exist in the world.

Hypomelanism, or a reduced quantity of the pigment melanin, causes the animal's snow-white skin. But because white crocs are more visible to predators, it is rare for them to reach adulthood.

They live in swamps, marshes, rivers, and lakes in the southeastern United States.
