A grueling hike up a steep unmarked wash above the tree line led to an unobstructed view of the majestic El Capitan and Horsetail Fall. As the sun set at just the right angle, the famous Firefall phenomenon put on a show as Horsetail Fall lit up like lava. The sun blasted light on the trees down on the valley floor while the high clouds above El Capitan lit up the sky. This unique vantage shows the top of El Cap layered in snow, which funnels down to allow for this natural wonder to take place.

Yosemite National Park is amazing all year round. Winter brings snow, fog and the famous Firefall phenomenon. Spring brings raging waterfalls, meadows of wildflowers and flooded valleys. Summer is amazing for hiking and visiting popular areas that are accessible after roads are cleared such as Glacier Point and Tioga Pass. Fall brings amazing reds, yellows and oranges blanketing the valley floor as trees show off their color.
This collection represents countless hours photographing my favorite National Park in every season to show the world its true glory. The mood and ambiance changes with every season and it's one of the few National Parks you can visit all year round and come away with great memories no matter when you visit.
