David Schab , b. 1973 in Rybnik, he lived in Tychy for many years, for 10 years he has been living and working in Bristol, Great Britain. He studied Law, a graduate of Political Science at the University of Silesia in Katowice, a graduate of Painting at the Faculty of Painting in the studio of prof. Włodzimierz Karankiewicz at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. He has been dealing with oil painting since 1999, but drawing accompanies him from an early age. For 2 years he attended drawing and painting classes at Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studio of prof. Zbigniew Bajek. The preferred technique is oil on canvas and dry pastels on paper. David's works are characterised by very rich and bold colours, strong contrasts and the play of light and shadow, which brings to mind the fauvistic style and expressionism.
