Inspired by Gwen Stefani “Harajuku Lovers” perfume collection. Always notable for her unique fashions and eclectic personal style, Stefani’s fascination with Japanese street fashion and youth inspired the Harajuku Lovers fragrances.

In 2004, a music video was released by Gwen Stefani, with Japanese dancer group Harajuku Girl being the backup dancer in the video.

The music video is filled with visualization of Harajuku style, a mix of all the well known Japanese sub-styles. Harajuku style has always been about self-expression and creativity, allowing one to bring their creativity and passion into their style.

Art of Lihua collection image

Calligraphy Artist & Fashion Illustrator

Captures modern fashion portraiture with traditional ink techniques.

Lihua started her formative years practicing traditional Chinese calligraphy and little did she know, ten years down the road, it became the backbone to her unique style. She calls it Chinese calligraphy with contemporary fashion portraiture where a woman’s curves mimics that of a Chinese character. Her strong foundation in calligraphy not only influenced her strokes but it translates into an intangible energy on paper as well. Her works also feature watercolour that add interesting dimension to her arts.

She has done work for some of fashion’s biggest name such as Chanel, Chrstian Dior, Furla, Balmain, Christian Louboutin, and G.Zanotti just to name a few.
