USPS_NFT.irl Series

In real life, Ongo is primarily found in and around the streets (& aves) of San Francisco. Sometimes as a harmless paste up, covering one of those “guerilla-marketing” promotional ads for an upcoming show. Other times as a multi-layered stencil spray painted on a questionably-legal piece of private/public property. But, more often than not, you’ll find Ongo in the form of a handmade stenciled/spray painted USPS Priority Mail Address Label sticker (what a mouthful.)

Each one is unique in it’s own right. Sure, sometimes you’ll come across two that are the same color palette (face / eyes)… But, the minor differences (i.e. a finger print, under spray, positioning, etc.) sets each one them apart.

So, obviously, it had to be done… the perfect combination between a physical piece of fine (street?) art & the digital fingerprint of authenticity stored on the blockchain. Whether you’re interested in USPS_NFT.irl for the physical sticker or you’re more in it for the NFT, you’ll receive both!
Every sticker receives a clear coat (matte finish) to lock in / protect the spray paint/colors over time. Each sticker is signed & numbered on the backside by the artist + includes a unique QR code that scans to a certificate of authenticity (a page on the artist’s website, including a link to the NFT on OpenSea). The sticker is then placed in a 4x6” clear plastic photo sleeve to prevent wrinkles and any other damage that may incur. Each sticker is then scanned, labeled, and uploaded as to OpenSea as a .png file (which is what you see pictured.)
