Konstantin Tsiolkovsky was self-taught, which didn’t prevent him from becoming the founder of modern astronautics. As a child, he was almost completely deaf and could not study at school. Educated on his own, he became a teacher and promoter of ideas about space exploration and settlement. One of Tsiolkovsky's most significant ideas is space trains. Modern rockets, consisting of several adjacent stages, are the implementation of one of his projects. Tsiolkovsky is recognized as a thinker who was significantly ahead of his time.
