Stutter (Luis Rivas) is a 24 year old artist from Kansas City, MO. Originally from Mexico, he came to the US as a kid where he lived as an immigrant for most of his life. Ever since he was younger he dealt with anxiety which is what caused him to stutter as a kid. Even though he was mocked for his way of speaking he decided to make Stutter his artist name to turn something negative into a positive. Stutter’s art style subconsciously mimicked the way a voice stutters by using repeating strokes as well as patterns to create worlds based on different emotions.
