Interference II is part of series called the Torqued Panels. The premise is the same as the Torqued Painting series but in this case the frame and canvas have been replaced by fiberglass panels that have cut into different shapes. Once hung the panels seemingly hover off the wall and echo the torqued surfaces of the paintings. This piece is a pair of panels, called Interference I and Interference II that are painted with a unique iridescent paint, also called interference and bounded by a matte black outline. The title also references a track called 'Interference' by Makeup and Vanity Set (MAVS).
