I was asked to feature my art at Sea Hear Now 2021 (Headliners include: Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Idol).
I was given an 8-foot tall wooden panel to paint on. So I busted out my iPad and Procreate to design this piece.
I wanted the warmth and love of the summer months and the joy you feel when riding waves to inspire the direction I went in.
I then locked myself in a hot garage for a week and paint the large version.

Alders has been featured on CBS, NBC, Fox as well as in the pages of Penthouse. His work has been exhibited at the X-Games, music festivals and showcased throughout the United States, South America, Australia and Europe. in 2010, Alders was named, "Surf Artist of the Decade".
Six album covers have Jay's art including two for the band Slightly Stoopid and is regularly seen live painting on stage with rock stars.
