"Tafoni" is inspired by and named after the beautiful structure of wind eroded sandstone. There's an interesting paradox since the structure takes shape from degradation and erosion over time, however it appears to be a purposefully naturally designed generative support structure. This illusion of structure is what inspired the aesthetic of this footwear concept.
