This one has a dual meaning. You don't realize you're going to be on the "wrong" street until you're there. The girl in this piece literally walked on the wrong street, that she didn't know was so dangerous, and she ran into trouble, frantically having to run away in fear for her own life. I worked a job where I had to clean the most disgusting bathrooms that were never cleaned before. I was told that I did an awful job, when I did my best. I was humiliated every day., even gaslighted by the boss making me think I was doing everything wrong, when I did them right. That was the wrong road for me, but this one feels so right. Much like this girl needing to run away from trouble in the street, I had to "run" away from a toxic workplace situation. Sometimes that is the best decision to make.
