AIE personalized another character of mine. Another me on the inside is still full of curiosity but also resembles a child who is easily hurt. I named my character 'AIE' in the Korean pronunciation of the word 'child a:i' and the French onomatopoeia 'Aïe'' when a person is sick. And she is courteous about her costume through the traditional Korean girl's hat, GUllE, and Hanbok. There are still many children who are still suffering in the World. A child is a precious future for us, who must be protected at no cost. I hope everyone treats the children with love.

‘아이’는 저의 또다른 캐릭터를 페르소나화 했습니다. 내면에 있는 또 다른 저는 여전히 호기심이 가득하지만 세상에 쉽게 상처를 받는 아이의 모습과 닮았습니다. 저는 이런 제 부캐에 어린이라는 뜻의 ‘Ai’, 그리고 아프다는 뜻의 의성어 프랑스어인 ‘Aïe’에서 ‘AIE’라는 캐릭터명을 정했습니다. 그리고 한국의 장식용 쓰개인 굴레와 한복을 통해 예를 갖추며 자신의 정체성을 드러내고 있습니다.

여전히 세상에는 고통받고 있는 아이들이 많이 있습니다. 아이란 대가없이 지켜줘야할 존재인 우리의 소중한 미래입니다. 모든 사람들이 아이들을 사랑으로 대해주길 바랍니다.
