Red Beard was created in the early days of the mobile digital art movement and was one of my first pieces painted using the Procreate app (which had just been released the previous year).
It was selected for the Lumen Prize in 2012 and was exhibited on London's famous Cork Street at Gallery 27 and then went on to tour locations across Europe and Asia.
In 2013 it was exhibited digitally as part of a triptych of portraits at Saatchi Gallery in London.
Roz Hall is an internationally exhibited artist working mainly with consumer electronic devices. In 2015 he was chosen by Apple to exhibit his iPad paintings in Apple stores world-wide.
He has previously teamed up with Microsoft to promote the Surface Pro lineup, being featured in online campaigns.
His digital paintings have been exhibited across the globe in a number of exhibitions including The 2012 Lumen Prize. He’s been published in MacUser, PAGE, Cult of Mac magazine, iCreate, CANVAS, /NEXT magazine, ETC Magazine, Madame Figaro, Artists & Illustrators, Financial Times and The Independent.
