After finishing up a vole for breakfast, this red-shouldered hawk gave me a fierce look of satisfaction. There was still some blood on the hawk's beak from its recent meal. I was able to photograph this hawk for almost 10 minutes up close, while it ate and rested on some rocks. Usually rocks are in my landscapes, as I dont have many photos with wildlife and rocks in Florida due to the flat and swampy terrain.
