What if I told you that I couldn’t see a damn thing while taking this photograph?

My right eye’s cornea has a deformation that turns lights into weird shapes and long flares are formed along with it. That’s one of the reasons that I don’t shoot a lot at night. But sometimes, the instinct to capture the moment keeps me going.

With so many lights along Pier 7 walkway, the illuminated buildings and the angle too high to maintain symmetry, I was actually shooting blind but the photo turned out really well and exactly the way I wanted it.
