My series, Lemurian Dreams, was deeply inspired by the Legend of the Lemurian civilization. Lemuria is a sunken continent which, according to scientific theory, sank beneath the Indian Ocean. Some have even suggested that Lemuria could be the ancestral home or cradle of mankind. The legend of Lemuria is long and complex, but I have always felt some connection with the idea that the Lemurians' knowledge still exists within us all today, and we could be seeing signs from them in our life. This series was inspired by my personal belief that we all have our ancestors, and we all have different reincarnations in other dimensions. We're all connected in one way or another. It gives us the power of an unlimited source of love, wisdom, unity, and equality in spirit. This series of portraits, called Lemurian Dreams, present my vision of these Lemurian beings with superhuman knowledge, yet also very peaceful and whole. Here are some facts or fables, whichever you choose to believe, about Lemuria for those that are interested. They were purported to be masters of technology, electronics, and atomics. Lemurians supposedly had mastered atomic energy, telepathic and clairvoyant skills, electronics and science as long as 18,000 years ago. They controlled most of their technology with their mind. Using these supernatural powers, Lemurians worked within the quantum field, in which they discovered the pathway to a five-dimensional world, and could move between all dimensions. Mythology says they could teleport and make themselves invisible at will. They were an ascended civilization, living in a fifth-dimensional vibration and consciousness, and understood energy and the way the universe works. They saw everyone as equals and existed within a state of oneness. Their continent sunk and during the sinking of Lemuria, people were given a choice to either become a volunteer to raise human consciousness into higher states of awareness or to return to their own system of light or source. Those that chose to be a volunteer and experience the fall into the third dimension--our world--may not have understood how many lives they would need to live, or the intensity and density of those lifetimes, and for 12,000 years were caught in the birth-death cycle. The downfall of Lemuria embeds itself in the genetics of the human soul. Healing it requires spiritual struggle of the highest form in several incarnations.
