Touching on the topic of painting, we often talk about the hidden meanings, symbolism and subtext behind certain works of art. The genre of still life will be interesting in this regard. Still lifes were different. We will not consider the entire spectrum of this genre, we are interested in paintings, whose main feature was the images of flowers. The flowers themselves in the still life have already said a lot. Sometimes, the same flower had several interpretations, and the viewer had to literally solve the puzzle, comparing all the clues left by the artist on the canvas. The media space in a global pandemic is saturated with virus bacteria. A certain still life is formed, which, like a flower, speaks of the frailty of life.
