Your work should always serve your life. It should never be the other way around. Sometimes we tend to get confused about that. Our work becomes the center of our life and everything else circulates around it. We start to cancel our quality and Inspiration time, cut back our time for sport (you totally know what I’m talking about here) and at the end of the line we miss spending enough time with our loved ones. "Yeah … but the job needs to be done" - Tomorrow is another day. Learn to schedule your time better (or fire your project manager). "But … I can’t let down the team!“ - You haven’t done this the five times before so maybe it’s time to start rethinking (or fire your project manager). „You know … I love what I do“ - So do I. It’s more a hobby than actual work for me and it should stay that way (In this case the project manager can stay). You have to be careful about your working time. Once you've crossed a line it seems normal to you to work 12 hours a day („Because I need to bring food on the table or at least to drive a BMW“). Your point of view starts to shift slightly. You’ll notice that on different small things. For example will your surrounding start to bore you. Basically because on your way from bed to work and to bed again the weekly changing posters on the subway station won’t stimulate you enough. That’s an alarming sign. You should take some days off to get your mojo back. Read, dance and explore. You're a creative mind and creative minds need stimulation - otherwise you become a math teacher (sorry Mrs. Reichert).
