The Six Bloom is a work of art by Camyl Buenaventura in collaboration with Narcity Canada. This NFT represents Toronto's resilience as it recovers from the hardships caused by the pandemic. The TTC streetcar aims to represent the people of Toronto making their way back to the city as the cherry blossoms bloom and the city comes back to life.

About the artist: Camyl Buenaventura is a film director, film maker, and digital artist with over 5 years of experience in the creative field. Her work is distinctly known for its dark and cinematic style that emphasizes detail and creative storytelling.

As an artist, music has been her main inspiration. Most of her current work revolves around the music industry, both locally and internationally, directing and filming several music videos for artists all over North America.

Camyl is also part of the Humber Alumni where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and outstanding recognition for her documentaries. One of her most recognized works includes a documentary project on the Philippine Drug War. She also gained invaluable experience working with Discovery Channel Canada and The Daily Planet Show.

Other notable brands that Camyl has worked with include Audi, Volvo, Bumble, Huawei, Sephora, and the Toronto Raptors.

vertical_splitAbout Back To The Cityexpand_more

For the past year and a half, we haven’t been able to do the one thing we love the most: exploring our favourite nar-city. We all miss the hustle and bustle of downtown, the sound of glasses clinking on a rooftop patio, and the smell of fresh flowers at the farmer’s market.

Back To The City pays tribute to all the wonderful cities we can now start exploring again. It’s an opportunity for us to see the place we live in with fresh, new eyes.

Our goal is to promote local Canadian artists and support the Arts. We teamed up with three extraordinary artists for this special collection of NFTs and will be donating 20% of the proceeds to foundations supporting the arts in each respective city. We hope these NFTs inspire you to get outside and go back to the city!

NFT owners will unlock a physical component and access passes through an exclusive Narcity membership. Learn more: https://www.narcitymedia.com/news/narcity-media-launches-first-nft-collection-created-by-local-artists
