About the artist:

Viktoriia Teletien was born in 1986 in Donetsk, Ukraine. From 2002 to 2006 was studying at the Donetsk School of Art with specialization in arts and crafts. From 2006 to 2012 was studying at the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts, with specialization in monumental painting.

Participated in various regional and local exhibitions and symposiums. Since 2008 is member of the Youth Union of Artists. Since 2016 is the curator of the festival project "Ex.plenair: Remote Access" A permanent participant of Land-art festival Mogritsa. Presently she lives and works in Kharkov. (From March 2022 in Dnipro)

The «Namysto» collection consist of many original NFT beads created by hundreds of Ukrainian artists of all ages. This project is created to support Ukrainian artists and army during the Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.

Namysto - a traditional Ukrainian decoration of pearls, corals, stones, etc., worn around the neck. Namysto are one of the oldest jewelry known since the Paleolithic. Now they are worn mainly by women, but historically they have been used as jewelry by men. The Namysto necklace can also be named after the material - "corals", "beads", "beads". One element of the Namysto necklace (pearl, stone, etc.) is called a «Namystyna» (rarely a bead).
