Born in 1949, lives and works between Mexico, Miami, and Havana.

Education: 1969 - BFA, National Art School, Havana, Cuba. 1984 - Scholarship, Atelier 17 of S. W. Hayter, Paris, France.

Experience: 1969-1991, Founder, Associate Professor, and Head of the Engraving Department for the Higher Art Institute, Havana, Cuba, supervised and tutored 58 Senior Projects. 1983 - Vice-President of IAA (International Art Association) for Latin American and Caribbean. 2000 - Founder and CEO of La Siempre Habana, Limited Edition Prints.

Awards: 1966 - Prize on Lithograph, International Exhibition in Figurative Art, Milano, Italy; 1968 - Collective Prize on Salon de Mai, Paris, France; 1973-1990 - Several First Prizes and Mentions in National Salon of UNEAC, Havana, Cuba; 1997 - Third Prize in Symposium of Sculpture on Steel, Tultepec, Mexico.
