The origination of this images comes from a standard Arizona sunset and inspiration from a painting called The Lovers by Man Ray. I made three separate oil on canvas paintings from this particular sunset in different sizes.

I like the idea of playing with memories through so many different filters and time. Locations with a personal connection, caught on a camera, edited with one set of software, made into a traditional painting, photographed a second time, edited with other sets of software (multiple passes with differing software to degrade and distort the previous images), animated with software, and retranslated into an NFT. This process of memory, growth, and change fascinates me and I hope you enjoy this current iteration of this image.

Digital Artwork of John Firestone. I take a lot of the artwork I have made physically and digitally manipulate it using many different applications to add to the story or revise it completely. I love physical artwork and digital artwork and the differing stories they can tell. I like to rewrite history based on changing perspectives. To see the stuff on canvas go to: www.Johnfirestone.com
