NFT artists are able to retire a metric ton of carbon offsets through the Carbon Credits 2 College Credits initiative. The artist can specifically associate a work to the carbon offset. A certificate bearing a grayscale image of the NFT and the carbon offset certification number is then minted in this OpenSea collection. Then NFT fans and artists may choose to "Token it Forward" supporting the 501(C)(3) Energy Scholars Inc. and the Carbon Credits 2 College Credits initiative.
