This was, and will forever be, the only GO game that human beats top level AI in the entire human history. It was the 4th game of a five-game GO match between the 18-time world champion Lee Sedol and AlphaGo, an AI program developed by DeedMind, played in Seoul, South Korea on 13 March 2016. Lee Sedol had lost the previous 3 games. In this game, Lee Sedol made his unexpected move white 78, which was described as a "divine move", and turned the game around and ultimately won the game. When Lee Sedol fell in sleep at that night, AlphGO continued to train itself by playing a million games with itself. Lee Sedol lost the 5th game. There is no record of human beating top level AI on GO games ever since.
