"The Death of James Dean" is both an experimental short and a one-of-a-kind music video. This haunting little movie has screened at three film festivals so far in 2022. It was a finalist for Best Short Experimental Film in the London, UK-based Cult Movies International Film Festival in March, and it will screen at the Defy Film Festival in Nashville, TN in August, 2022.
"The Death of James Dean" features the experimental editing of one of the groundbreaking actor's most memorable scenes from REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE. The images are paired with an ambitious musical soundtrack including Mighty Joe Nolan's inspired spoken word performance of the title poem.
