In my paintings, I make a deliberate effort to step back from realistic representations while at the same time not stepping away from reality itself.

My most successful work is captured in spontaneous moments when I can free myself of restraints imposed by over-thinking and self-judgment.

My goal is to inspire viewers to look more closely at the world around them and rediscover life between the lines.

Ed T. Eberle is a New York native, an LA transplant, and is now a Portland, Oregon-based artist working in acrylic, watercolor, ink, prints, and found objects. As a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York, he studied both Film and Fine Arts.
