This token is part of the “700: Gleeful Gains” project created by artist David Hu (@max.the.miata) in celebration of achieving 700 followers on his Instagram page.

The artwork in “700” is inspired by the VeeFriends character, Gleeful Sugar Glider. This art is meant to be a reminder for you to be creative with how you achieve your goals. Part of that is—like Gary Vee says—doubling down on what you’re good at, and the other part of it is being practical about it. The sugar glider knows it can’t fly like a bird, but it also figured out that using a fan (i.e. leveraging a tool or a resource) can go a long way to fulfilling that dream, even if it’s not perfect.

In many ways, David sees himself in GSG. Even though he is a big comic book fan, David doesn’t have the skills nor the patience to be a full-on comic book artist, but by leveraging what he CAN do, the VeeFriends community has become his electric fan (yes, the pun is intended). And for however long and high he can go, David will always be grateful.

The artwork shows David’s stylized take on a small sugar glider (similar to a flying squirrel), who is floating in mid-air above an electric floor fan. The sugar glider is counting “Six-ninety-eight…Six-ninety-nine…Seven hundred!” The token is a 6-second, looping animated clip, simulating a moving breeze.
