‘From Sand to Water: the landscape of hope’ is a desperately romantic proposal, calling for climate justice for everyone on the planet. Taking on today’s most sensitive issues such as global migration, climate change, state inequality – the project in the African Niger to the south of Sahara Desert is imagined not merely as a restorative agriculture landscape, but as a metaphor of hope, empowerment and independence. The holistic water management approach adapts the previously arid homeland into a lush landscape which captures and safely stores the water.
