INSPIRATION OF THE ARTWORK The joy of a shared moment. Colour. Urban landscape. Life, encounters, the horizon of high buildings, of history, of a certain evolution. This image expresses the energy of a long awaiting, the emotion of living something new, awaited, dreamt of. An equilibrium of shapes, reflections, and real elements that turn into an inspiration “more than real”.
ABOUT KANTFISH I am an Italian visual digital artist working with images, videos, films and writing.
My images result from photography, new media and personal digital techniques. They are a mix of documentary elements, reports as well as creative solution of lights and personal approach. As a creative author I believe in the Renaissance idea of a broad and transversal culture. I use the latest technology, software and AI since I believe these are the most powerful tools to express the result of my researches, my emotions and my points of view.
I observe reality in its full complexity. I observe it by questioning everything. For me, reality does not exist without an observer. In my artworks the "real" becomes something inspiring "more than real". In a way that it captures the multi-layers which I believe reality is based on.
My images have been published by major media in Italy, Spain, UK, USA or Portugal. I have participated in solo and collective exhibitions at international awards of plastic arts. I have produced and directed a feature-length documentary, two short films and several art videos, selected at 27 international festivals and awarded with an Audience Prize. I am also a published-book writer.
My images are distributed and sold internationally. The artworks in my catalogue reflect the experiences I have lived in different continents, leading us to situations in which the real turns More Than Real. The images aim to be aesthetically impacting on top of their content, to trigger seducing and deeply inspiring dreams, new real horizons and new possible experiences.

The πόλις are sources and accumulation of human energy. They are since the very beginning heterogeneous centers of balance, symphonies of structures, harmonic reflections that also consume three quarters of the energy in the world to become the greatest laboratories of successes and failures of humanity. Centers of art, technique, design, science, lights, games. A continuum of trial and error. A fascinating and constantly evolving universe that allows discovering a parallel reality, more than real, all over the world. In Metropolis, the most iconic settings at the planetary level, the places that we have always known in the collective imagination become infinite sequences of colored lights, shapes, infinite worlds, totemic chaos of the topics of our civilization. The images become hypnotic games in balanced constructions that make us enter their apparently chaotic game to transform it into an abstract experience.
