“BLEU BTC Alien” Version 1 - 1/1 - from Healing Arts Collection -

I painted this 4x6 ft painting obsessively night and day for weeks in Argentina. The sun would come and go and I would realize I hadn’t eaten or drank water in 12 hours! I was completely enmeshed and enchanted by this channeling that was flowing through me. This series of 3 art works is called “Wake Up”

These pieces are about letting our old selves and things that no longer serve us break down, to let it all fall and create space for what is showing up, more light, higher frequencies of abundance and healing.

This physical painting is one of 3 portraits that I painted while in Argentina. The other two are super dark. And I would love to share them once this piece has been collected. It is a very personal story as I finished the last two while I was bedridden after a car ran a red light and hit me on my bicycle. I had to re learn how to walk and rehab from wheelchair to crutches to a cane. I have 30% of my hip and leg full of metal because of this and still recovering from the aftermath. This series called “Wake Up” ironically did wake me up. Everything in my life as I once knew it ended, and I spent the following 6 years navigating through my PTSD brain trying to make sense of the pieces of me that were left. I wrote a book about this as well

BLEU (bilingual evaluation understudy) is an algorithm for evaluating the quality of text which has been machine-translated from one natural language to another. I used this word as a play on the color "Blue"
