Inspired by The Book of John 2:1-12 & The Book of Proverbs 3:9-10, this painting shows an abstract image of the first documented miracle that Jesus performed at a wedding in Cana; Jesus turned water into wine. It’s interpreted that Jesus is The New Wine, the new covenant that came to fulfill the laws that were written by Moses. Our bodies are like the cisterns and are mostly made up of water, and when we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, the water inside us turns into New Wine. As you read God’s Word, Pray, Praise and Worship Him, and learn to be faithful in all your ways, you will radiate with the light of the world. God fills up our cisterns, our beings, with New Wine (Grace and Mercy) to give us the strength and wisdom we need to go about our daily lives each and every day.
