As I type this out I'm waiting through my second hour for someone to give me information about the piece that inspired this self portrait while I listen to people in a Twitter space talk about how helpful the nft community is, ok. The original was created by a man named Alberto Rizzo, I was first introduced to his work through an online contest and of the few examples that were listed the piece that inspired this stood out the most. What I see in his work is what I feel right now, alone, in my art, in my search, in life. The white is just the void of endless distractions and problems that become the white noise drowning out better memories. I saw no intensity or urgency in the red, it just stood out as a sign of change, the only color or art in a bland existence. The drawn figure looked sad, the head resting on the knee, so I chose to look up and out into the light. I let the shadow cover my mouth because there's not much to say, I blend from the tangible man in the light into the drawn figure to show that I am my art and it is every part of me. Maybe when I finish minting this someone will have responded and helped me out, but if not I thank Alberto Rizzo for the inspiration and the best way to end this collection.

Thank you too. . .
