Alexa Meade painted on the face and clothes of Dr. Andreas Otto Weber to make him appear to be a two dimensional painting. The Renaissance styling of the portrait was inspired by the model, who is a descendant of the famed 16th century painter Lucas Cranach the Elder. The portrait installation was created as part of an exhibition in the Ingo Seufert Gallery for Contemporary Photography.
