The Goddess is a virtual incarnation of the original Goddess of Democracy created by student demonstrators at the Tiananmen Square, Beijing in 1989. The original Goddess was destroyed on the same evening the nation-wide democratic movement was crushed. The artist intends to keep the memory of the movement alive in virtual space.
