Bringing together graffiti and pop-art, this mixed media piece celebrates one of my favorite rappers, DMX.
His first album "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot" was released in 1998 just before summer break hit, I vividly remember buying his CD at the mall and playing it non-stop everyday going, during, and coming back from school. Today, his music is still as relevant and energizing as ever, and continues to inspire and influence many others like myself.
