«Phonegenital» «Phonegenital» is a fresh and important series of critical works made in the MS Excel and dedicated to the transition of Humanity to the Virtual and the dissolution of Personality in digital reality. The smartphone is an important technical basis of this process now. In the works of the series, it satirically compared with «the genital organ of a new type».

The first work dedicated to the Human’s habit of constantly using the phone, touching it, interacting with it. Perception of the phone as a part of yourself. Feeling the phone as a new organ of your own body.
Look at the smartphone screen. Its most important part is called the touchscreen. A surface designed to be touched. The manufacturer telling us that this is not just another insensitive piece of iron — it has a sensitive screen. Just touch it and it will respond to your touch. In general, the very idea of multitouch is based on body contact, caress and stroking. Moreover, the smartphone itself has a classic Freudian phallic form.
That’s what this picture is about. A small monkey fiddles with his smartphone growing between his legs.
