No Planet B by Motorefisico and Zon Productions for Earth Day is a creative way of data visualization. Data (taken from ourworldindata.org) were used in the programming phase to symbolically show the changes that Earth has experienced from the end of the 19th century to nowadays due to two variants: CO2 emissions and plastic pollution. CO2 emissions are represented by a progressive increase in red peaks within the planet - indicative of global warming - while the growth of plastic pollution deprives the sea of its blue color, gradually making the surface of the planet entirely brown. The ring moving around the planet represents the passage of time.
