Among the several titles that Adam Curry holds, internet entrepreneur might be one of the clearest ways to describe the man who some call the “Podfather.” Being heavily invested in podcasting, Curry found a great deal of success in the digital realm. He was also one of the first celebrities to see the power behind the internet and websites. Most recently, Curry made an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast where he not only discussed the history of money, what it leads to, and what the future will be, but he also dug deep into the metaverse and the potential behind it.

Blaming the broken money system for many of the problems in the world, Curry pointed out that the system leads to wars, inflation, poverty, depression. No matter which way he looked at it, Curry always found the system behind money to be the culprit, which led him to the new form of banking, digital currency. 

Going beyond the evidence of a failed system, Rogan and Curry also discussed the metaverse and how Facebook has been caught in the past trying to create their own form of currency to be used on their platforms. Seeing the dangers and potential loss of control, Curry explained how the government stepped in and started to regulate it. 

While unloading a massive amount of information, one of the most important facts presented by Curry was how the federal reserve would eventually institute a digital wallet directly to citizens, making digital banking the future.
