With Heavy Steps, is a more abstract acrylic painting that instead portrays the feeling we can experience when everything becomes heavy and at the same time show that there is light and color in the middle of the heavy. This is also one of the few paintings in this style that Larz himself is very happy with.

Larz Lindqvist
 born 1956. Today living in Sweden. Larz have been drawing since he could crawl, painted more in oil since he was 12 years old, and sold his first painting to art collector when he was 13 years old. Larz was represented with a painting at The Swedish Modern Museum Of Art when he was 15 years old.

Sprayed his first wall of graffiti when he was 16 in 1972. (Graffiti was unknown in Sweden) 
 Larz got great reviews when he exhibit 18 years old in Umeå. Studied art at university and went to art school for some years in Umeå. 
 He has exhibit over the years and sold paintings, so they are now spread around the world. 
 Larz's pieces of art are today hanging in schools, hospital, churches but mostly in private homes . When he was young he worked a few years as an art teacher and had at that time 3 studios where he painted and developed different styles and technics. Since he was 24 he have used different technics and styles to express what he want, and also different signatures, pseudonyms in his art. Larz has worked a lot with young people and society issues, using art in different ways. He has also five years theology studies and has mixed theology and art through his hole life. The last ten years he only worked with art again, trying to find new ways and make it even stronger with energy and power to touch hearts. 
 For Larz Street art is important because ordinary people can see it. He have made over hundred live graffiti paintings during the years. That is also why he during the last ten years have showed his art on screens around the world (as at Times square) and at big roads screens and at subways (as in London and L.A.) and so on. There has been a lot of different exhibitions around the world during the years and also some art prizes. Today he sells online more and more. Larz is convinced that love is the essence of life and the closest we can sense the spirituality, that art often opens windows to and let us understand a little more of life’s greatness, witch he tries to tell and show in his art.

The paintings portray the realities of life with its feelings. Art is a major language and is a vital necessity in a functioning society. Art gives meetings where something happens and that changes something every time and involving the viewer and give birth to reflection, experiences that bring to life and enriches life. Art is a gift to life and humanity and is about feelings and Love.
