Armed Struggle is the road to liberation - Che 2400 x 3600 Printable jpeg at 300dpi available on purchase Using the iconic cyclops Marilyn on a WWII tank as the heart of this one of a kind Sinister Pussy, it incorporates original watercolours of Korean sparrows and a deep reflection of global western acts of war, with the hope of the building of new frontiers and exploration through new digital worlds.
The Sinister Pussy collection initially evolved as a response to the London riots and the arrest of Pussy Riot members in 2011. I was intrigued by a particularly dystopian Orwellian quote regarding the future of the human race and the combined popularity of cats on the internet.
When creating this NFT collection, I adapted the ORIGINAL SINISTER PUSSY alongside original works from my 3 previous (Protestors and Pussies collections) made with scissors, paint and glue, that were inspired by the slogans of the 1960’s second wave of feminism, anti-government protests as well as from the works of the Situationist International (S.I).
Although many decades have passed the relevance remained the same.
Sinister Pussy became a symbol of dreamlike anthropomorphism and revolt.
